Yep it's a Fungus.  It is called a Snow Flower, don't know why because there was no snow around

This is a short one, some of them were a foot tall.

This the Giant Grizzly Tree in the Grove. It is the first Sequoia you come to in the Grove.

Yep the tree is so big it grows it's own trees!
